This 1984 F150 was brought to Watkins Motorsports on its last leg. Barely crawling into the shop on its own power, we had some new life waiting for it. A beat up 94 Mustang GT was bound for the scrap yard but not before we pulled the entire engine, fuel and wiring components for transplant into our project F150. With a few small upgrades like an explorer gt40 intake, headers, timing set and full gaskets this old mustang engine was brought back to life. After fitting all the hard components, Brad Watkins, prepared a moates.net F3 Ford Memory Adaptor, a piggyback chip for ford EEC-IV and EEC-V computers, with two custom tunes selected by the driver with a dash mounted switch.
Watkins Motorsports used a Moates.Net Chip burner and <C R O M E> tuning software to custom build a tune for this 5.0l ford
